2023 AXIA X 1.0 AT

The 2023 Perodua Axia 1.0 X is the mid-range variant of the all-new second-generation Axia lineup built on Perodua’s DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture) platform. Positioned above the base G variant and below the SE and AV variants, the Axia 1.0 X offers a balance of affordability, improved comfort, better safety equipment, and modern hatchback styling while maintaining excellent fuel efficiency.

Compared to the previous-generation Axia, the 2023 model introduced major improvements in ride comfort, handling stability, cabin refinement, and safety, making the Axia X one of the most practical and value-for-money city hatchbacks in Malaysia.

Key Features (2023 New Generation Model)

The 2023 Axia received a complete redesign with a more premium and modern appearance compared to the previous generation.

Exterior:
Sharper front bumper styling, redesigned grille, slimmer headlamp design, aerodynamic body shape, body-colored door handles and mirrors, and stylish 14-inch alloy wheels. The new DNGA platform also gives the Axia a wider and lower stance for a more stable and premium road presence.

Interior:
Push Start/Stop button, Smart Entry with keyless access, digital air-conditioning controls, multifunction steering wheel, improved dashboard quality, fabric seats, and a modern infotainment system with Bluetooth and USB connectivity. Cabin refinement and interior space are noticeably improved compared to the older Axia generation.

Cargo & Practicality:
The Axia X offers approximately 265 liters of boot space together with improved rear passenger room and practical cabin storage areas, making it highly suitable for urban daily usage and first-time car ownership.

Safety & Technology

The 2023 Axia X received significant safety upgrades thanks to the DNGA platform.

Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), ABS with EBD, Brake Assist (BA), Traction Control, Hill Start Assist (HSA), rear parking sensors, Emergency Stop Signal, and ISOFIX child-seat anchors.

Important Note:
The Axia 1.0 X does NOT come with Perodua Smart Drive Assist (PSDA/ASA). Advanced driver-assistance systems are exclusive to the top-spec AV variant only.
